I was one who wanted so badly for Congressman Ryan to run for President. However, I respect and admire his decision. As nervous as I feel about the current GOP field, however it plays out, it gives me great comfort to know that Mr. Ryan will be there on the Hill, doggedly continuing his work, trying to put the brakes on the obscene spending culture in Washington, articulating the desperate need to reform entitlements. In my opinion, the top 2 questions the 2012 candidates should be asked are 1) Do you intend to do everything in your power to keep Americans safe, and 2) Do you intend to take full advantage of Congressman Ryan's expertise regarding budget, spending, and entitlements? I remain optimistic!
