Ohio Gov. John Kasich: "My enemy is poverty and joblessness, and my job is to fight those two evils." In this clip he says there's no doubt his bill curtailing unions' power will come to him for his signature, but reminds viewers that it's just one piece of a much larger reform agenda aimed at creating jobs and saving Ohio economically. We're "getting killed by the south and the southwest," not to mention other countries. People need to stop "flying over Ohio" and stop to create jobs for a change.
And here is Gov. Scott Walker announcing the layoffs of 1,500 employees for a total savings of $30 million.
