CNN has a poll out today that - in what is almost becoming predictable - has Perry dominating the 2012 field.
Perry takes 27% to Romney's 14%. Perhaps most surprising, Sarah Palin tops Bachmann by a sliver, 10% to 9%. Giuliani also took 9%.
Our poll last week, which samples a more active conservative Republican group than the national polls, has Perry at 29% to Bachmann's 17% with Romney trailing at 11% - when people were asked whom they would vote for. When asked who they think is most electable, 46% said Perry, 20% Romney, and Bachmann 9.5%.
No matter how these polls are sliced right now, Perry dominates in just about every category. As we've noted before, these numbers will not change much until the debate on September 7, after which we'll see if Perry keeps up the momentum.
