Despite the bipartisan standoff over deficit reduction plans, according to the latest Pew Research Center analysis investigating voters' views of the looming default threat, over two thirds of constituents say they're hoping for compromise - a stark contrast to the current discontent circulating among elected leaders in Washington (and a potent reminder of why congressional approval has just hit a new low).
