Pelosi tells Weiner to resign...now the question is why it took her so long

CNN is reporting that Nancy Pelosi has now called for Anthony Weiner's resignation - 5 days after his shameful press conference. It seems it took the latest news of him sending tweets to a 17 year old girl to push the former Speaker to issue a statement.

Apparently, the previous pictures and lies and derailment of the Democrats' Mediscare agenda weren't enough for her.

Although Chris Lee's ordeal was humorous and painful at the same time, we can all now thank him for his quick resignation - and for John Boehner's clear and strong message that such behavior was intolerable.
